The 2025 fall semester will kick off with Welcome Week events that will run from August 25 through September 4
Welcome Week started on Monday, August 25 with free donuts and coffee with Interim President Pakou Yang. There was also a mug painting session with Student Life and Tutoring Services.
On Tuesday, August 26, there will be a Speed Networking/Friending event with Norm the Lion at the Overlook in the Kopp Student Center from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will also be a Yoga Session from 12 to 1 p.m. in Room A 1570. The day will wrap up with Bingo with Program Board from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Kopp Student Center Garden Room, and Late Night Bites for students with night class from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the College Services first floor area.
There will be Yard Games with Sweet Treats from 2 to 4 p.m. outside at the Courtyard on Wednesday, August 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Welcome Week events for the first week wrap up on Thursday, August 28 with Video and Board Games in the Garden Room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a Student Resource Open House the Student Resource Center from 1 to 3 p.m.
The second week of Welcome Week events will include a Campus Involvement and Resource Fair on Wednesday, September 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gymnasium, along with a Diversity Center Open House (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Diversity Center) and a Phi Theta Kappa Campus Clean-up event (2 to 3:30 p.m. starting at the Kopp Student Center Zone) on Thursday, September 4.
